Repubblica Affari & Finanza and ITQF: Southenergy awarded among the italian companies with greatest economic growth
35th out of over 50.000 companies examined and 800 awarded: Southenergy, the Apulian company that has been operating in the renewable energy sector for 16 years, has been awarded the “Champions of Growth 2025” prize. The new edition of the study on the Italian companies with the greatest economic expansion is carried out by the German ITQF Institute and La Repubblica Affari & Finanza. To be included in the prestigious ranking, the companies were evaluated on the basis of revenue growth in the three-year period 2020-2023.
Champions of growth 2025
Despite today’s difficult and complex national and global context, there is an Italy that does not give up and is growing at a sustained pace. A great ferment and dynamism, a panorama often dotted with small and medium-sized enterprises characterized by great agility, flexibility and capacity to innovate.
This is exactly the Italy that La Repubblica Affari & Finanza and the German ITQF Institute wanted to frame with the publication of the national report entitled “Champions of Growth”. Now in its seventh edition, this survey collects 800 companies that have distinguished themselves for growth rates decidedly above average.
The German Institute for Quality and Finance, while drawing up the ranking based on growth in revenue, also collected data on the increase in the number of employees with the ultimate goal of discarding companies with a continuous decline in employment or persistent losses. Objective: to give visibility to the Italian companies that drive the economy and contribute, thanks to their dynamism, to giving new impetus to the economy and society.
Requirements to be included in the “Growth Champions” ranking
The calculation of the growth rate is based on the turnover data communicated and confirmed by the candidate companies. The list of champions is drawn up on the basis of the average annual growth, the so-called compound annual growth rate, more commonly known as CAGR from the Anglo-Saxon acronym Compounded Average Growth Rate (CAGR): CAGR = (revenue 2023 / revenue 2020)1/3 – 1
Requirements to participate:
- a revenue of at least 100.000 Euros in 2020 and at least 1,2 million Euros in 2023
- registered office in Italy
- mainly organic growth
- be autonomous companies (not a branch or affiliate)
- not be in any of the conditions referred to in art. 80 of Legislative Decree 50/2016
Companies that do not correspond to the above criteria or with a lower growth rate are not considered in the final ranking.
Southenergy, the power of nature!
Being among the “Champions of Growth 2025”, a national award, represents further tangible proof of the value and appreciation of the services that Southenergy has been developing and implementing throughout the country for more than 16 years.
“Such sustained growth would not have been possible without the trust of our customers and partners and, at the same time, the energy and commitment of the entire team” – Dr. Giovanni Melpignano, CEO Southenergy.
