Intesa Sanpaolo’s “Imprese Vincenti” program awards Southenergy among Italy’s entrepreneurial excellences
Important award for Southenergy SRL, a company that has been a point of reference in the renewable energy sector in Southern Italy for 16 years, awarded by Intesa Sanpaolo as part of the “Imprese Vincenti” program, now in its fifth edition and dedicated to the valorization of Italian Small-Medium Enterprises that best express excellence in the various sectors and territories of the country.
With the “Imprese Vincenti” program, Intesa Sanpaolo brings to the forefront Italian companies that have been able to best face the difficult context, maintaining and strengthening positive results also through profound transformation initiatives, distinguishing themselves in the national panorama for their ability to adapt and support the productive fabric and the reference communities.
Fifteen stages across Italy to enhance the projects and ambitions of the 150 Imprese Vincenti – 10 of which are foreign – of this 5th edition, chosen from over 4.000 candidates: the eighth stage of the program was held on September 12 in Bari at Villa Romanazzi Carducci, a precious opportunity to compare with the only 10 excellences of the territory, including Southenergy, awarded by Intesa Sanpaolo.
The adoption of ESG criteria, growth projects, the impact on the communities and territories in which they operate, contributing to creating value for the local economy, employment and well-being of people, are the guidelines from which Intesa Sanpaolo’s Winning Companies emerge.
These are also the distinctive criteria of the activity of Southenergy, whose CEO, Dr. Giovanni Melpignano, stated:

Following a careful analysis process, Intesa Sanpaolo awarded Southenergy the Imprese Vincenti recognition, rewarding it as an Italian “excellence”.
Being identified as one of the Italian “Winning Companies” is a prestigious recognition, the result of 16 years of corporate history based on principles such as professionalism, fairness and competence.
During the award ceremony on September 12th in Bari, the CEO declared “In 2008, when the company was born, I really had nothing. But I had an opportunity given first by the territory and secondly by my professional background”.
