Green Energy Day: national day of energy transition
April 20, 2024, the day of Energy Transition! It’s what, on a national level, represents the “Green Energy Day“, a moment of reflection on the ongoing energy transition and the path of energy efficiency undertaken by many virtuous companies in the country.The event involves the opening to the public of sites for renewable energy production. Everyone is welcome to the Green Energy Day: families, schools, and, more generally, all those who wish to take advantage of the opportunity. The event, in addition to allowing the knowledge of plants that are usually closed to the public, aims to be a moment of reflection and deepening on the issues of decarbonization, the maturity of technologies for renewable energy production, the integration of plants into the territory, the importance of energy efficiency, and, above all, aims to draw attention to climate change and the urgency of resorting to mature technologies to redesign a society without emissions.

Southenergy partner of the Green Energy Day
The event, scheduled for Saturday, April 20, 2024, will represent a moment of national attention and reflection on the theme of Energy Transition, particularly aimed at the young audience, but not only.
Southenergy, a historic company from Puglia (Ostuni – BR) for 16 years a leader in the renewable energy sector, will be a partner of the initiative for Puglia, opening the doors to the general public of its own wind farm. In particular, the technical staff Southenergy will welcome visitors at the turbine located in Brindisi (turbine power: 500 kW). A preview of the plant is available in the section dedicated to Southenergy projects. The event will take place in the morning (starting from 10:00 am) on Saturday, April 20, it will be possible to book the guided tour, lasting about 30 minutes, by sending an email to anastasia.moro@southenergy.it or by contacting the number +39 351 4462788.
