Legnobotti, a prominent international factory specializing in wooden materials for packaging, has selected Southenergy to lead its transition towards renewable energy sources. This endeavor encompasses the installation of an initial 100 kW photovoltaic plant.
This installation signifies Legnobotti’s broader commitment to renewables as a practical means of attaining energy independence amid the ongoing energy transition. Located in the industrial hub of Brindisi, this project highlights Southenergy’s significant presence in the photovoltaic sector in Puglia. Since 2008, Southenergy has been delivering tailor-made solutions aimed at advancing renewable energy sources, with the overarching objectives of enhancing the energy independence of our partners, reducing costs, improving corporate assets and promoting environmental sustainability.

In 1918, Domenico De Benedetto, a skilled craftsman, embarked on his entrepreneurial journey in a small workshop, soon necessitating expansion. By the early 1920s, his Brindisi-based wooden barrel factory for wine transportation and storage had gained widespread acclaim across the region. Domenico managed his company with foresight, garnering renown beyond regional and national boundaries.
Today, we are witnessing the remarkable evolution of Legnobotti, originally a humble craft enterprise now transformed into a leading international factory.
