Southenergy for the Monastic Community of Bose

Southenergy comunità monastica Bose

The valorization of natural resources has always been the founding essence of the daily work of Southenergy, a leading photovoltaic company with over 16 years of solid experience in the renewables sector. In an economic and social context that can no longer ignore the satisfaction of energy consumption, the sun represents a precious gift. A gift that, as such, must be honored, respected and placed at the service of communities.

This is a principle that constitutes the framework of a collaboration that has been underway for several years (at the Fraternity of Ostuni), and consolidated by the recent installation carried out by Southenergy at the Fraternity of Bose San Masseo – Assisi.

The origins of the Monastic Community of Bose date back to the first centuries of Christianity. Today “Bose” is a community of monks and nuns belonging to different Christian Churches who have abandoned everything to try to radically live the Gospel in celibacy and gathered in community. A simple life, tending towards the essential, in which all members of the community work, using their personal employment to conquer what is necessary in daily life: vegetable gardens, orchards, olive groves and vineyards, icon and candle workshops, carpentry, a publishing house and various other professional activities at the service of the community, guests and Churches.

“Renewing, every day, our pact with Nature”

A pact with nature must be honored with concrete gestures, aimed at enhancing a precious asset like the sun, making it accessible to all. The renewed collaboration with the Monastic Community of Bose is aimed at this goal, from the origins of the first collaboration with the fraternity of Ostuni to the most recent collaboration with the fraternity of San Masseo – Assisi.

Thanks to the photovoltaic system built in San Masseo (Assisi), the Community will be able to benefit from “self-made” energy, self-produced in compliance with nature and used to benefit the activities of the community itself and its guests.
